Students will study the ordinary canon law of the Eastern Catholic Church and deepen their understanding, as far as possible, of the particular law of individual churches. Licentiate definition is - a person who has a license granted especially by a university to practice a profession. Our Licentiate degree in Theology (STL), is affiliated with the Angelicum in Rome and specializes in the New with c. 212 § 3, but I submit all to the ultimate judgment of the Catholic Church.
